How PropDefend collects, uses, and protects data across our managed security services.

Overview
PropDefend LLC, a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP), offers cybersecurity, IT automation, and cloud management services for small and mid-sized businesses. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect data across all of our services.
Services covered
This policy applies to:
- Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 security management
- Endpoint monitoring and management (PropDefend Security Agent)
- SMS-based security alerts and IT notifications
- Remote monitoring and management (RMM) services
Information we collect
Google Workspace integration
When authorized, PropDefend accesses user account information, group memberships, organizational structure, audit and usage reports, and device data. We do not access, read, or store end-user content such as Gmail messages, Calendar events, Drive files, or Contacts.
Endpoint monitoring
The Security Agent collects hardware and software inventory, system performance metrics, security status, network configuration, and event logs.
SMS messaging service
We collect employee phone numbers, message delivery status, opt-out preferences, and device sign-in events that trigger alerts.

We do not use your information for marketing purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Frequency
Most users receive fewer than 5 messages monthly. Messages are only triggered by specific events - no scheduled promotional messages.
Consent and opt-out
Employees are enrolled when their organization contracts PropDefend services. Users may opt out by replying STOP or contacting their IT administrator.
Data security
- TLS/SSL encryption for all transmissions
- Encrypted credential storage

- Logged and monitored system access
- Need-to-know access restrictions
Data retention
- Active clients: duration of agreement plus 90 days
- SMS records: 12 months for compliance
- Security logs: per organizational policies and applicable regulations
Data sharing
Data is not shared with third parties except:
- When required by law
- With contractual client authorization
- With service providers under confidentiality agreements
Your rights and choices
Revoking access
You can remove the app from the Google Workspace Admin Console, disable API access, uninstall the Security Agent, or contact support@propdefend.com.
SMS opt-out
Reply STOP to any message.
Data requests
Contact support@propdefend.com for access, correction, or deletion requests.
Compliance
PropDefend complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, TCPA requirements, CTIA Messaging Principles, and applicable data protection laws.
Policy changes
Material updates are communicated via email or service portal.
